Our Castle Rock Merlot is produced from grapes grown on hillside vineyards in Washington State’s prestigious Columbia Valley. Deep plumb in color, it carries aromas of dark cherry, blueberries and mocha spice. On the palate this full-bodied wine has excellent structure, rounded tannins and a slight earthiness, ending in a long harmonious finish, highlighted by fresh blackberry notes. It provides an excellent companion to steak and other red meats, pasta dishes and a variety of cheeses.
